The products of the Riva 1920 collection are made of solid wood from reforestation areas using essences such as: maple, cherry, oak and walnut. A distinctive feature of the company is the use of reused wood such as the thousand-year-old Kauri from New Zealand, the Briccole from Venice and the scented cedar from Lebanon. Riva 1920 pays great attention to selecting the best materials to create its furniture collection, which is characterized by reliability and durability. The quality of the raw materials used is the basis of the production process and starts with the choice of the finest woods alongside  woods from controlled reforestation areas.
The search for quality in materials can be found within the entire production chain, from the metal bases, to the hardware, the leather and the fabrics available in the widest range of colours.
Each element is subjected to detailed qualitative and functional compliance checks to which is added the use of vinyl adhesives and oil and natural wax finishes, a guarantee of a 100% natural product.
