Royal Botania was founded in Belgium in 1992 out of the passion of two engineers, Kris Van Puyvelde and Frank Boschman, for crafting teak wood furniture. In a short time, Royal Botania transitioned from simply importing wooden furniture from Indonesia to directly designing and producing a wide range of outdoor furniture, increasingly focused on quality and the ‘royalty’ of its products.

In addition to wood, new materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and synthetic fibers were introduced, positioning the company as an international synonym for quality and luxury design.
